Classic place to visit on your trip to Berlin. Great atmosphere. Cheap drinks and great bartenders. Super fun. Totally recommend if you are in for a night of debauchery. Even if you go earlier in the night, you will have fun.

I love this sparkly little dive bar, where a 5am closing time is just a conservative estimate, even on a weekday, where the regulars come up to you and make friendly conversation, where people go into the bathroom in twos and threes, where you can get wasted on the cheap in a delightfully charming atmosphere.

So fun. And strange, but I love that. It reminds me of a Fellini film. Or maybe the bar scene in the original Star Wars.
Transiest bar ever. People were nice and we were just hoping we didn't look like tourists at a petting zoo. There was a little dance floor and nobody minded that we were taking it all in. The people watching was awesome. Eurotrash is acceptable to me if the people are off-kilter enough. Enjoy! -

We live in dark times. It's not easy to cut loose and put down your fear the KGB is listening right over your shoulder. Fear not fellow comrades, set down your struggle and raise a glass to the working class underground that frequents this lovely establishment. Have a cold brew or maybe even a sweet conversation with a sexy hottie just trying to take your mind off the problems of the proletariat. Let's be honest, the system is strong, and they are many and we are few, so we must embrace establishments that aren't afraid to acknowledge the struggle. The best beer is brewed by the people's nest. Long live the kumpelsnest!
